RR-7732: Pencil Cups
Cherry & Mahogany
Wood Pencil Cups. The making of a pencil cup starts with the selection of the woods to be used. Some are made with a single wood, but most of them have at least several woods. Frequently, I find wonderful combinations with woods that I might not expect to go well together. When I find that I am repeating combinations, I start to add more new woods to the mix. Most of the pencil cups are unique combinations of woods. Wood pencil cups are Hexagonal in shape, 4" high and 2 5/8" in diameter. Some are all the same wood and some are mixed with 2-6 different woods. The ties are for accent and stability.
